Some of the reasons why you can expect only the best sites to be listed here -

All our sites are validated by a human (!)

Each site must conform to the rules of decency

Each site must have a Welsh Connection

Each site should include a valid email and postal address. In the case of commercial sites this is mandatory (dti).
(When registering a site a valid email is important. We guarantee that emails are not divulged online or to any third party. They are used for admin only. Webmasters can expect just one email a quarter containing your site performance info and any important updates. We reserve the right to remove any site with an invalid email address in our database)

Each site must be new or have been updated within the last 12 months. (Our robots check http responses and check Last-Modified dates. We recommend that index pages are refreshed every three months. 3 consecutive failure reports [404 errors] will mean that site will be deleted.)

Each site must contain valid content
(simple adverts and most single page sites will not make it.)

Your Email is safe
Your email information is not published within the site unless it is part of a review in which case include 'private email' in the review and it will be removed. We never divulge email information to third parties.

Listings are Free, but we do reserve the right to refuse to list any site and to remove any site already listed.

REVIEWS
Each site will eventually be reviewed by at least one person, although this may take some time. Reviews are always welcome. You may even review your own site but please be honest!.
Please note that the vast majority of review come from users. So if you do not agree with one you can submit a review with an opposing viewpoint. Should you think that a review is malicious then please contact us to have it removed.

What this means to the user is that you can expect to see quality sites. We have no intention of including every Welsh site - we hope to weed out the drivel for you. We supply the information in good faith, although we can never guarantee or approve the content of any particular site.

You will be able to see how popular a site is by viewing the Hits Out figures and how 'COOL' a site is by viewing the Hits In figure. The number of reviews of a site is indicated by the Reviews(x) figure. Why not add one yourself ?

Each review is also validated by hand for odvious reasons.

Webmasters can use the feedback from the hit counters and the reviews to see how popular their site is.
We would like to work in partnership with with webmasters and will be happy to receive views and suggestions for improvements etc.
